For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:18-19

2. God became man knowing fully that His earthly path would lead to the cross. What would it be like to realize that you are the only one with the capacity to save an entire race, and then to realize that it is going to require your own life to do so?
