Week #7 - God's Adversary

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. I Timothy 4:1

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10

Greeting and introduction from Men at the Cross Founder, Joe White.

1. Scripture tells us that Satan prowls around like a roaring lion. A lion's natural camouflage (deception) allows it to attack its prey unseen. How did this clip make you feel to you personally if the lions represent Satan's cunning plan of attack? When have you been surprised by what seemed like a pride of enemy lions? How did you get there? How did you escape?

2.  Peter is tempted, deceived, and manipulated by the White Witch to betray his family. What deceptions or temptations could our adversary use on you, and how can you shore up that area of your life?

4. Amazing, huh, how effective our archrival is at concealing his weapons! What lies has Satan been trying to conceal in you lately? How have you discovered those lies? How successful have you been at bringing them out on the table?
