Week #6 - Sin
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

1. Sin- 100% human nature, joyful for a time, and full of repercussions. Aside from the spiritual ramifications of sin, what do you feel comfortable sharing about your own NATURAL consequences you have had to face in your own life?

2. This comedy clip talks about a "sin value chart". The comedian assesses sin like it is on a scale; murder at one end and stealing paper clips from work at the other. Scripture is clear that God, however, only sees sin as SIN. How can you relate to this rationalization process from your own personal experience?

3. Las Vegas has become famous as "Sin City," and for it's "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" ads. The Bible says that nothing is hidden from God, and all things will eventually come into the light. Describe a personal encounter you have experienced in a sin you thought nobody knew about coming into the light.

5. The lady and the chair ... says it all, doesn't it!   How can you relate to sin's "quicksand" capabilities? Ever been in that chair before?
