Michael W. Smith

Michael W. Smith wrote his first song at the age of five and made his very first record in 1983. Ever since then his music career has sky rocketed with Dove Awards, Grammy awards and he has had the opportunity to sing for Presidents and national leaders. He now has eighteen albums including Stand, Healing Rain, Worship Again, Freedom, This is Your Time and I’ll Lead Your Home, has authored ten books and produced/starred in the movie Second Chance. Michael is the founder of Rocketown, a teen club that provides a safe, loving environment for teenagers in downtown Nashville, TN.   He is also the founder of Rocketown Records and co-founder of New River Fellowship Church where he serves on the leadership staff.
